Vallisneria torta Bunch
This twisted plant is a great one for smaller aquariums that are looking for a plant which is easy to grow and a bit different. Similar to Vallisnearia asiatica but smaller, it's easy to grow and is also happy in water that is hard.
Most hobbyists use this type of plant to cover up filters or other equipment but it also looks great on its own. Suitable for coldwater tanks as it grows in temperatures as low as 10C. Vallisneria torta bunches consist of approximately 3 stems which are approximately 15-20cm in length. Note that all vallis is intolerant of liquid carbon and can melt if dosing it at the same time as growing this plant.
This vallis consists of 3 plants per bunch which are approx 10-20cm in length.
Note: This plant does not come with the weight in the picture. As it is a true aquatic plant there are chances of snails or snail eggs. As we buy from European stock, pesticides are never used. Whilst we do our very best to remove any snails that we see, we wanted to make you aware that this is a possibility.
Lastly, all Vallis can be somewhat sensitive to new water parameters. In the event that your Vallis melts once submerged, it's down to the water conditions of your aquarium and this means the responsibility lies with you the customer, and not Aqua Essentials.
